The Newborn Father

It was as if the light in the room changed along with his breathing... He sat there, for the first time feeling natural about feeding her, natural about being her father...natural about worrying about how old he would be when she would be...and how protective he would be...when she would be....He worried about it all at the mere thought before she was even born...and now even more so.

Yes. He was a newborn father



I am not a painter... but in this case, I had the need to take time capturing a moment. It felt somehow...too important to a photograph. So this was merely a need to feel a moment printed into me, rather than a challange to a painter.
